There are many ways to get to know your crystal allies and dozens of books on the market all of which focus on the different properties of each stone. One cannot possibly remember all of the characteristics of even our favorite stones. So don’t even try. Treat the stone as a new friend you want to get to know.
One method of meeting a stone is to hold it in your hand or place over your heart and meditate on what it has to tell you. Imagine the crystal as a ‘being’ or an energy collective, feel its properties, its purpose in your life. Hold on to that image and give it a name. You may want to further describe or differentiate the energy. Perhaps the Hermit is really Merlin energy.
The Major Arcana uses archetypes which many of you already know. Some of these will fit well with your stones. For instance, I saw The Storm and The Tower as similar energies.
The archetypes I have chosen are from my personal experience. Try them out and if they feel wrong do your own crystal meditation to connect with your new friends.
I plan to introduce a new crystal ally each week here and on Instagram. (Sage_stones)
Imagine you are on the deck of a ship at night in a raging storm. Thunder, lightning, waves crashing over the deck. You are hanging on for dear life.
This is how I see LABRADORITE with its flashing colors. Its Tarot counterpart is the Tower.
Use this stone judiciously as its power is great and can be instantaneous. I see three possible outcomes as you weather this storm. 1) complete destruction 2) the testing and strengthening of your plan through adversity or 3) finding yourself blown onto a new and exciting course offering much opportunity.
You don't get to decide how this change will look, but LABRADORITE will have its way with you.
